Mr. and Mrs. Dahlke

August 19, 2026

Makeela and Jay’s wedding at Hotel Northland in downtown Green Bay was the perfect mix of classic Art Deco style and personal touches that made the whole day feel completely like them. Tanzanian details were woven throughout the celebration, bringing the bride’s heritage into an already beautiful setting.

We started the day with final getting ready moments before heading into wedding party and bride & groom portraits, taking full advantage of Hotel Northland and downtown Green Bay along the way. There were plenty of beautiful portrait moments, but just as many laughs and little in-between moments happening throughout the day.

Cocktail hour took over The Alley, where guests grabbed his & hers signature drinks and made their way between bowling, pool, and shuffleboard before heading upstairs for the reception. One of the most meaningful moments of the night came when Makeela’s Baba presented the newlyweds with their kitenge from Tanzania. And once the dance floor opened, it stayed busy for the rest of the night.

Ten hours with Makeela and Jay flew by, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate these two.
