Alaina and Robert, Engaged
December 7, 2025
Alaina and Robert’s engagement session felt like the perfect blend of old-world architecture and city energy, which honestly makes a lot of sense considering where they’re headed next. We started inside Milwaukee’s historic 1886 Loyalty Building, where towering windows, intricate details, and timeless architecture gave us the dreamiest backdrop before stepping out into the heart of downtown. The building’s rich history paired with their effortless chemistry made every frame feel classic without trying too hard.
From there, we wandered through the Historic Third Ward, taking our time down brick-lined streets and making plenty of spontaneous stops along the way. We ducked into the Milwaukee Public Market, adding just the right amount of everyday life to the session. The Third Ward has a way of mixing historic character with modern energy, and it fit these two perfectly.
The best part? This is only the beginning of their story. Next spring, Chris and I will be packing our cameras and heading to Poland to photograph their wedding, and after spending the evening with these two, we’re counting down the days. If their engagement session is any indication, it’s going to be one incredible adventure.
