Makalah and Ethan, Engaged

Makalah and Ethan met me in Baileys Harbor for their fall engagement session, and we caught Door County at just the right time. The leaves were showing off, the weather cooperated, and Björklunden gave us the perfect location for a little bit of everything.

We started by wandering through the woods and around Boynton Chapel, taking our time exploring the trails and all that fall color. That’s one of my favorite things about Björklunden. In one location, we can go from walking through the woods to a rocky Lake Michigan beach and get so much variety without spending half the session driving around.

We finished along the shoreline with a quick outfit change and plenty of time by the water before we lost the light. A pretty ideal fall evening in Door County and an even better excuse to hang out with Makalah and Ethan before their wedding day.
